About Time!

Diamond CBD

One of my previous posts was regarding the problem I have with getting stuck on projects when I’ve gotten the majority of the work done. Well I wish I was here to report on some newly gained wisdom related to this issue, it would be wonderful to tell everyone my new strategy that has completely eliminated this problem, but unfortunately the problem of losing interest in my project once it’s complete enough to imagine the outcome is still the same problem it started as.

There is some good news though, I did force myself to go back and start working on abandoned projects one at a time. I made a commitment not to start anything fresh until everything I’ve started working on and eventually put to the side is 100% finished.

I began this task by cracking out my oversized jewelry/ keepsake box made with white oak, maple, purple heart, and other unknown hardwoods. It took a lot of finish sanding and took me about 6 hours of straight work to get this finished but it feels good to have it complete instead of sitting in a pile of unfinished projects.

I have about 3 or 4 more items to pull out of the abandoned pile, I think my next project to finish will be a chest I started a while back. I don’t have much else to write about on this topic, just wanted to show everyone my finished product.

Finally Finished!
